These Morning Routines Will Improve Your Mood and Make Your Day
Easing Into Your Day…
Should naturally be a priority for you. For some of us it isn’t at times. We become so programmed to the constant cycle of just trying to get thru the day that we don’t take a step back and just be present in the day. Beginning with your morning routine. The first initial thought of the day is what time is it? That usually sets the tone for whats to come next , I have to get up and … fill in the blank. Do you know you control how your day will turn out, just by the first thought of the day? That is the catalyst that can make your day anyway you desire. Slowing down and getting in control of your thought life. It will change so much.
At the start of your day, take a moment just to say thank you. Because if you were fortunate to open your eyes, grace was given to you. That’s a beautiful feeling. We often take that for granted. Its natural. We wake up every morning and just assume that we will wake up tomorrow. So I get it. As you get older, you realize and value things different, and for me, time, my mental and emotional well being have all become my utmost priority. I dont take that for granted anymore. When I’m good, My family is good. that is the optimal goal. I’m sharing some of my favorite things that I do to start my morning. I’ m a morning person seriously, and I enjoy easing into my day.
When China was younger, that was sacred time. because that was our bonding time. She learned from a very early age how easing into her day also set the tone for her as well. She did better in school, her attitude was well balanced and adjusted, she had clarity and focus and took on her day much better. Because I set the tone with how I set the start of my day with my morning routine. I never started work before I got my daughter off to school. I always drove her every morning. I wanted to see her off and make sure she was good. My morning routine always started before I woke her up, I took the opportunity to get the house ready before she rose. Getting my mental and emotional squared away. My thoughts in alignment with my goals for the day and next was getting prepared to get my daughters day started.
We don’t realize that our energy sets that tone. That is a key secret when you’re a mom trying to figure out how to get more balance in your life . How we start is how we will finish. Think about how you start your day. It will amaze you how you‘ll see significant changes in how your day evolves. Here’s some of my favorite routines in the morning. Feel free to share and let me know if any of them is working for you!
